Ilona has over 30 years experience from education sector (teacher, leadership positions on public and private schools, teacher trainer and researcher). She is specialised in phenomenon based learning, inquiry, student participation, and sustainability issues.
Before setting up her own business she was a whole city wide Education Consultant for the City of Helsinki.
She has a over 25 years of experience from training teachers in Finland nationwide and now more internationally.
She became known worldwide for her teaching and designing the distance Mobile Education for the Finnish children of ISIS mothers in Al Hol prison camp in Syria, during Covid 19.
Ilona also acts as a researcher in a research group on Pedagogy of Concrete Utopias at the University of Helsinki.

Mohsen is a digital learning specialist with strengths in designing, implementing, and evaluating online/blended learning solutions. With long-standing interest in EdTech and strong passion about educational innovations, he has research experience in technology-enhanced learning, online learning design and MOOCs (massive open online courses).
Mohsen has experience in educational project coordination, learning & development and he has worked in public and business sectors as well as international organizations such as UNESCO.
Mohsen Saadatmand is also a researcher at the University of Helsinki.
